A social-worker-turned-filmmaker Tracy Schott received a life-changing phone call from a friend whose pregnant niece got murdered by her married boyfriend. A quick Google search brought Tracy to a study showing that homicide is one of the leading causes of death in pregnant women.
Over the next four years of producing FINDING JENN’S VOICE, Tracy spoke with more than a dozen domestic violence researchers across disciplines, law enforcement, Jenn’s family and friends, and ultimately nearly 40 survivors of intimate partner homicide attempt to understand the dangers overlooked by so many.
Finding Jenn's Voice, an award-winning documentary film, was released based on the story of Jennifer Snyder.
Schott partnered with 1GEN to help raise awareness about the importance of this topic to amplify the efforts and further create a positive shift.
Just in time for International Women's Day (March 8), Tracy launched Voices4Change.net, a digital resource for survivors and professionals aimed at preventing intimate partner homicide.
Voices4Change partnered with organizations around the country and organized 7 live interactive webinars to address issues related to intimate partner violence.

The award-winning documentary Finding Jenn's Voice is available on the official website
